Mission Statement: That the outcome for your reader is to know that Sacred Scripture is like a beautiful diamond - always revealing new ideas for the sake of our collective SALVATION as it is polished. How is this done? My writing for you springs from six Catholic Traditions:
1) Scripture from a fully evolved Catholic perspective as expressed in Dei Verbum (The Word of God) from Dogmatic Constitution On Divine Revelation from Vatican II.
2) The Rule of St Benedict especially the first word of The Prologue "LISTEN".
3) The Social Doctrine of the Church - The moral of the story is that nobody goes to heaven on a cushion. It is about preferring Christ with a Catholic vision of abundance, grace and salvation.
4) Prayer 'Be Still and know that I am God' Psalm 46: 11
5) The Sacraments - The WHY of The Sacraments.
6) Discerning the answer to the question Jesus asks "Who do you say that I am"? Mark 8: 27 -33.

Catholic Sunday Scripture in the economy of words
Revealing Charity and Agape through Scripture from - "In the beginning..."
(Gn 1:1) to "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. Amen! (Rev 22:21) tm
- The Hebrew Testament meme of Agape translated as Charity and Regard (not "love" as we think of it today) is the seamless thread that sewes its way through each weeks commentary of 200 - 225 words.
- Each 'Catholic Sunday Scripture in the Economy of Words' commentary is taken from that weekends' Scripture readings only. It is a Homily as a Micro-Script.
- This has been published each week since Advent, 2008 as "Church Bulletin Insert". At Easter, 2012 I changed the title to it present one as more people were using it as Catechesis and personal reflection.
